#FPF – Week 32
Work… Work is the variable of success. It’s one of the only things in life you can control [did you put in the work, or didn’t you].
The beginning of January each year marks a time where most of us think about our goals, aspirations and what we’d ultimately like to accomplish over the course of the coming year. In some cases, it’s things that we didn’t get around to the previous year, and in others, it’s new goals (getting a better job, losing weight, etc…)
The thing is, I could tell you right now how to lose weight if that was your interest. I could spell out to the “T” exactly what you would need to do for the remaining 359 days of this year to be in the best shape of your life by 2018, but the reality is unless you put in the work – nothing would change.
This is true for anything you endeavor to do this year or beyond – if you don’t truly want it and aren’t willing to work for as long as it takes to make it happen, then you never REALLY wanted it to begin with… you never really HAD to have it…
Are You [Really] Ready to Make a Go of It? Let’s Get Swole!
Now that you’re really ready to make something happen this year, it’s time to think about what you want to happen. Once you have that, let’s reverse-engineer the steps it is going to take to achieve it. Once we have the steps, it’s time to start executing, and that’s as much about putting in the work as it is about putting yourself in the right environment (with the right people) to push you into the next level.
Remember, your resolutions won’t work unless YOU DO. Go get it – you deserve it!
Thank you for reading and have a great weekend!
